1. What is IP67 dot‑free COB LED strip with co‑extrusion process?

It adopts Chip‑on‑Board packaging with one‑piece silicone co‑extrusion molding, not sleeved‑tube assembly.

It delivers seamless dot‑free continuous surface lighting with IP67 rating.

It's suitable for rain‑exposed outdoor and semi‑outdoor humid applications.

2. What are the advantages of co‑extrusion process compared with traditional sleeved‑tube COB strip?

Co‑extrusion integrates silicone and PCB tightly without hollow gap, greatly reducing risk of moisture ingress. 

It features better bending resistance and avoids silicone shifting or bubbling. 

For sleeved‑tube type, LED strip is inserted into pre‑made hollow tube.

It may cause tube slipping and moisture trapped inside.

3. How does this strip achieve dot‑free performance?

Dense micro‑chips COB design plus co‑extruded silicone diffuser blend light thoroughly. 

No visible LED dots, hot spots or dark zones even at close viewing distance.

Additional diffuser cover is not mandatory for uniform linear lighting effect.

4. Can IP67 co‑extrusion COB strip be cut? Will cutting keep IP67 performance?

Cut only along marked cutting positions on PCB. 

Cutting breaks silicone enclosure, original IP67 protection is lost. 

Cut ends must be fully sealed with matching end caps and sealant to restore IP67 rating.

5. Will co‑extruded silicone turn yellow easily?

UV‑resistant silicone material is applied for good anti‑yellowing performance for outdoor use. 

Slow aging still occurs under long‑term intense UV exposure. 

Avoid permanent direct sun exposure to extend service life.

6. Does IP67 co‑extrusion COB strip support dimming?

Standard PWM dimming is available with compatible PWM power supply. 

Voltage‑adjust dimming is not recommended, as it will trigger the excessive heat and shorten COB chip lifespan.

7. What should be noticed when bending co‑extrusion LED strip?

One‑piece co‑extrusion provides good flexibility for regular curved shapes. 

Repeated back‑and‑forth bending at same spot is forbidden, 

which may cause silicone stress crack and damage waterproof performance. 

Use larger bending radius for sharp curves.

8. Does IP67 mean it can be permanently submerged in water?

IP67 rating is for temporary immersion and rain splash protection. 

It cannot stay continuously underwater. Select IP68 version for permanent underwater installation.

9. What notes for power supply selection?

Use regulated DC power supply with 20‑30% power margin. 

Power supply itself shall be rain‑proof for outdoor projects and cannot be exposed directly to rain.

For long‑run installation, evaluate voltage drop and apply power‑injection if needed.
