1. What is the luminous efficacy of this high-brightness COB strip?

It reaches up to 140lm/W. 

It delivers higher luminous flux under the same power consumption, saving energy for high‑illumination lighting projects.

2. What is the main difference between 140lm/W high-brightness COB and ordinary COB strip?

Typical ordinary COB achieves 80‑110lm/W. 

This version adopts high‑efficiency LED chips and optimized phosphor formula to hit 140lm/W.

It outputs higher brightness with less power loss, generates less heat and reduces lumen depreciation.

3. Will the 140lm/W strip get extremely hot?

Higher efficacy means more electric energy is converted into light instead of heat. 

Aluminum profile heat sink is still required. 

Heat accumulation will occur under enclosed installation without heat dissipation and shorten service life.

4. Can high‑brightness COB strip be cut? What is the cutting unit?

Cut only along marked cutting lines on PCB, cutting unit follows chip circuit grouping.

Improper cutting damages circuit and leads to dark sections or abnormal brightness.

5. Does 140lm/W high-brightness COB support dimming?

Standard PWM dimming is available with qualified PWM power supply.

Voltage‑adjust dimming is not recommended, which causes abnormal brightness and excessive heat.

6. Will long‑run installation bring voltage‑drop issue ?

Voltage drop still exists for long runs. Constant‑current IC variant is recommended to keep uniform brightness. 

Power injection is required for extra‑long projects to prevent tail dimming.

7. What precautions for outdoor application?

Select strip with proper IP rating. 

High‑brightness chips generate relatively more heat, sufficient heat dissipation space shall be reserved. 

All soldered cut ends must be fully sealed against moisture ingress.

8. What should we notice for power supply selection?

Answer: Use regulated constant‑voltage DC power supply, 

reserve 20%‑30% power margin based on actual total wattage.High efficacy does not allow over‑driving. 

Over‑voltage operation will accelerate chip aging and dead LED failure.

9. What applications suit 140lm/W high-brightness COB strip?

Answer: Ideal for high‑power wall‑washing, large display cabinet, supermarket fresh lighting, 

cove indirect lighting and commercial lighting projects requiring high brightness with controlled power consumption and heat output.
