1. What is any-cut COB LED strip?

Any-cut COB strip adopts redesigned internal circuit. 

Different from conventional fixed‑segment cutting, it can be cut at any position along the strip. 

It fits irregular shapes, short‑length and mini-size lighting projects.

2. What is the main difference between any-cut COB and ordinary COB strip?

Standard COB strip must be cut only on marked cutting lines; wrong cutting causes section failure. 

Any-cut COB works normally no matter where you cut. 

Each short segment can light up, greatly reducing installation waste.

3. What is the minimum cutting length for any-cut COB?

It can be cut down to minimum chip unit. 

Ideal for narrow channels, mini-letter signs, compact cabinets and special shapes where standard strips cannot apply.

4. Will brightness drop or become uneven after random cutting?

Distributed circuit delivers balanced current. 

Both long sections and short cut pieces maintain consistent brightness without dim tail or local dark spots.

5. Can any-cut COB be spliced for longer run?

Cut segments can be soldered together for extended length.

For extra-long installation, voltage drop shall be considered. 

Power injection is recommended for long projects to avoid brightness loss.

6. Does any-cut COB support dimming?

Standard PWM dimming is supported.

Cutting will not affect dimming performance with smooth dimming and no flicker. 

Voltage-adjust dimming is not allowed, which will damage COB chips.

7. Will waterproof any-cut COB keep IP rating after cutting?

Cutting breaks outer protective silicone and original waterproof performance is lost. 

Cut ends must be sealed with matching end caps and waterproof sealant to restore IP protection level.

8. What bending suggestions for any-cut COB?

It keeps good flexibility for regular curved shapes.

Avoid repeated back-and-forth bending on one single spot, or PCB copper traces may break and lead to local dead LEDs.

9. What are power supply requirements for any-cut COB?

Use regulated constant-voltage DC power supply, reserve 20%-30% power margin based on real total load.

When multiple short segments work in parallel, sum up total wattage to prevent power-supply overload.
