1. What is gentle‑arc surface IP67 co‑extruded COB LED strip?

It adopts Chip‑on‑Board packaging with one‑piece silicone co‑extrusion. 

The light‑emitting surface features a subtle soft gentle arc without prominent bulging. It delivers seamless dot‑free lighting. 

Rated IP67, suitable for outdoor signboards, contour lighting, semi‑outdoor humid environments and indoor linear lighting.

2. What is the difference between gentle‑arc COB strip and flat‑surface COB strip?

Its light‑emitting face is finished with slight soft curve instead of obvious convex bulge. 

It delivers softer light transition and lower glare for more comfortable visual effect. 

The flat‑surface version has completely straight light‑emitting side. 

One‑piece co‑extruded structure has no inner hollow gap, offering better waterproof and anti‑aging performance.

3. Will gentle‑arc surface IP67 co‑extruded COB strip keep IP67 rating after cutting?

Original strip body is IP67 rated. Cutting damages co‑extruded silicone protective layer and waterproof performance is lost. 

Cut‑and‑solder ends must be fully encapsulated with matched end caps and waterproof sealant to restore IP67 protection.

4. Is the gentle‑arc silicone surface prone to scratch damage?

The subtle curved surface has uniform silicone thickness with standard abrasion resistance. 

Heavy friction or impact from sharp objects may still cause damage. 

Protect light‑emitting face against sharp contact during installation.

5. Can IP67‑rated strip be permanently submerged in water?

IP67 is for temporary immersion and rain‑splash protection only, not for continuous underwater submersion. 

Please select IP68 version for permanent underwater projects. 

Power supply and controller must be well protected from rain and water ingress.

6. Does gentle‑arc surface IP67 co‑extruded COB strip support dimming?

It supports standard PWM dimming with compatible constant‑voltage dimmable driver. 

Voltage‑adjust dimming is not recommended, which will cause chip operation, excessive heat and accelerated lumen depreciation.

7. What is the cutting unit for gentle‑arc surface IP67 co‑extruded COB strip?

Cut strictly along printed cutting marks on PCB. Cutting unit follows COB chip grouping circuit. 

Random cutting damages internal circuit and results in dark sections or abnormal lighting.

8. What precautions for installation?

Protect the gentle‑arc light‑emitting surface from heavy squeezing. Do not pull or twist the strip. 

Provide drainage for outdoor mounting housing to avoid accumulated water. 

Prevent sharp objects from scratching silicone surface.

9. What are key points for power‑supply selection?

Use regulated constant‑voltage DC power supply, reserve 20%‑30% power margin based on real total wattage. 

Rain‑proof power supply is mandatory for outdoor projects. 

Evaluate voltage drop for long runs and add power‑injection points for extra‑long installation to avoid tail‑end dimming.
