1. Why does this 30‑meter long strip achieve no voltage drop with single‑end power supply?

Built‑in constant‑current IC chips provide independent current compensation for each segment. 

Even powered from one end for full 30 meters, brightness stays consistent from start to end, no dim tail effect.

2. Is single‑end power supply the only option? Can we power it from both ends?

It is designed for single‑end power supply with zero voltage drop. Dual‑end power supply is also acceptable. 

Dual‑feed helps reduce heat build‑up for enclosed high‑temperature installation, yet it is not mandatory.

3. Can the 30m constant‑current strip be cut? What is the cutting unit?

Yes, cut only along marked cutting lines on PCB. Random cutting will break circuit and cause partial LEDs dead. 

Cutting unit is defined by IC circuit layout.

4. How many rolls of 30m strip can be connected in series?

One roll is 30 meters. Do NOT connect multiple rolls directly in series. Each 30‑meter roll requires an individual power supply. 

Excessive series length will overload IC and lead to overheating or failure.

5. What is the main difference between constant‑current IC strip and conventional resistor‑based LED strip?

Ordinary resistor‑based strips suffer obvious voltage drop, the tail part gets dimmer as length increases. 

Constant‑current IC stabilizes current automatically, maintains uniform brightness over full 30 meters and performs better against input voltage fluctuation.

6. What should we notice for power supply selection?

Choose DC power supply according to total strip power, leave at least 20% power margin. 

Use regulated DC power supply only. Unregulated power supply will damage constant‑current IC.

7. Will constant‑current IC strip generate heat? Can we power it when still coiled?

Moderate heat is normal during operation. Never power the strip while coiled. Unroll it completely for heat dissipation. 

Coiled power‑on will cause heat accumulation and burn IC & LEDs.

8. Is dimming available for this constant‑current IC strip?

It supports PWM dimming with compatible PWM power supply or controller. Voltage‑adjust dimming is NOT allowed. 

Voltage adjustment will disturb IC operation and result in flicker or no light.

9. What precautions for outdoor installation?

Select strip with proper IP waterproof rating. All wire joints must be well sealed for waterproofing. 

Single‑end power supply still works for 30‑meter run, but keep power supply and controller in dry place.
