1. What is the difference between neon LED strips and regular LED strips?

Neon LED strips use silicone casing for a smooth, even, dot-free glow. They are flexible, waterproof, and ideal for signs, logos, and decorative lighting. 

Regular LED strips have visible light beads and are mainly for indoor ceiling slots.

2. Are neon LED strips flexible?

Yes, they are flexible for curves, letters, and outlines. But do not fold sharply at 90° or pull hard, as this may break the internal circuit.

3. Can I cut the neon strip?

Yes. You can only cut along the marked cutting lines. Cutting at any other position will damage the neon.

4. What voltage do neon strips use?

Most use DC 12V or DC 24V low voltage, which is safe for humans and suitable for home, commercial, and outdoor use.

5. Are neon LED strips waterproof?

Most are IP67 waterproof, suitable for outdoor signs, gardens, balconies, and wet environments. 

Please make sure connectors and power supplies are also IP67 water-proof.

6. Can neon strips be used as main lighting?

No. They are designed for ambient, decorative, and outline lighting, not for main illumination.

7. Why my neon strip not light up?

Possible causes:

• Incorrect voltage or insufficient power supply

• Reverse positive and negative wiring

• Improper cutting position

• Loose connection or damaged circuit

8. Why does the strip flicker?

Flickering is usually caused by low power wattage, incompatible power supply, or poor wiring connection.

9. Why is there still faint light after turning off?

This is often due to wiring issues or slight power leakage from smart switches. An anti-flicker module can solve this problem.

10. How to install neon LED strips?

For rough surfaces or outdoor use, we recommend using mounting clips or channels for better stability. 

For better shaping, we will recommend a bendable channels.

11. Can I control brightness and colors?

Single-color/dual-color/RGB/RGBW/RGBCCT all support dimming/remote control/smart control. 

The key is to choose the right controller and remote control.

12. How long do neon strip lights last? How long is the warranty ?

Lifespan：Under normal use, they can last 30,000–50,000 hours.

Warranty: We supply 3-5 years warranty for neon strips. Pls double check with the relevant sales before placing any orders. 

What’s more, silicone naturally turns yellow within 3 years, and this yellowing issue is not covered under the 5-year warranty.
