1. What is recessed aluminum profile?

Recessed aluminum profile needs pre-cut grooves on walls, ceilings or floors. 

The channel is embedded inside the groove and flushed with the surface after installation.

It gives seamless minimalist visual effect.

2. What projects suit recessed aluminum profile?

New decoration and commercial projects.

Eg:  ceiling hidden linear light, wall washer, step lighting and floor linear lighting for minimalist seamless design.

3. What should be noticed during installation of recessed profile?

Groove size must match the outer dimension of profile. 

It has to be pre-buried during construction. 

Grooving will damage existing walls, so it is not recommended for retrofitting.

4. How about heat dissipation and IP rating of recessed profile?

The aluminum channel keeps stable heat dissipation even embedded. 

It can reach IP67 rating with sealed cover and end caps. 

Floor version adopts thickened profile with pressure resistance for pedestrian walkway.

5. Is it convenient to repair and replace LED strips for recessed profile?

The diffuser is removable and LED strips can be pulled out for replacement. 

However, limited working space inside the groove. 

It’s better to reserve inspection ports during construction.
